Win Tonight and We Can Talk

The Miami Heat bring their 5 game win streak to Utah tonight.  They’ve beaten the lower level teams  like they should.  Outside of a win against the Magic however, they haven’t matched up with the elite teams in the league.  Everyone knew it would take a while for them to gel and this was before D-Wade missed the preseason with a hamstring injury.

But now they seem as if they are figuring things out a little bit.  Granted the combined won-loss record of the 5 teams during this streak is 42-64.  That’s why tonight is a good barometer for them.  The Jazz are 16-6 and coming off a loss to Dallas.  They won the first game in come from behind fashion in Miami.  Jerry Sloan will have them ready again tonight.  This would be a statement win for the Heat and make this win streak legitimate.

Agree, disagree, agree to disagree.  It doesn’t matter.  Feel free to scroll down and post a comment.
