Knicks are Back??

As of now I have to say yes. Their game with Boston last night was an instant classic.  Literally, it was an instant classic.  It was on ESPN Classic and it just went off a little while ago.  I’m convinced for the first time in a long time that the Knicks can make a little noise in the Eastern Conference.  When is the last time anyone even honestly thought that?

Basketball is a game of inches, bounces, and tenths of  seconds.  If Stoudemire hits his two footer  with the game tied at 116, things may have been different.  It rattled out and we know how it ended.  His three pointer as time expired was miliseconds late, or else they still win.

We have to be realistic though.  The Knicks are 8-1 in their last 9 games.  The schedule has been on the generous side lately.  Not so over the next couple of weeks or so.  They play Miami twice, Oklahoma City, Chicago, Orlando, and San Antonio between now and Jan. 4.  We are about to see what they are made of.  It is nice to have them back in the mix again though.

Agree, disagree, agree to disagree.  It doesn’t matter.  Feel free to scroll down and leave a comment.

Even in defeat, Stoudemire and the Knicks have made a statement.
