Quite a Turnaround

Getting Brooks back will give the Rockets a boost.

As a fan you have to take the good with the bad.  My Rockets started out beyond bad.  (See Failure to Liftoff)  So it’s good to see them overcome all the adversity and start to play some pretty good ball.  After that 3-10 start Houston has gone 12-5 and are back at .500 with a 15-15 record.

Injuries have killed them, Aaron Brooks went down with an ankle injury.  Yao attempted to come back and play limited minutes but is again out for the season with a stress fracture.  They have overcome all of this and are tied with Portland for the 8th seed.  So if they playoffs started today. . . never mind, its still way to early for that talk.

Getting Aaron Brooks is huge for this team.  They love to shoot the 3 and Brooks is another good shooter.  Put him with Kevin Martin and Luis Scola and you’ve got if not a “Big 3″, a very solid 3.  Trading for Terrence Williams appears to be a good move, just have to hope he comes in and stays focused.  Tonight is one of the biggest tests they have faced in a while.  The Heat are in town.  Does Miami have a letdown after beating the Lakers and Knicks?  Is Houston ready to keep it rolling with a win over LeBron & Co?  Looking forward to finding out.
